ANNA H. (STEINLICHT) ISAACS
Colfax - Anna H. Isaacs, 93, of Colfax, mother of a Gibson City woman, a former Loda area resident, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday 3-14-1992 at Octavia Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past seven years. Her funeral was Tuesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, the Rev. Pat Allin officiating. Burial was in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. She was born 9-2-1898 in Chatsworth, a daughter of Julius and Katherine Marie Bierman Steinlicht. She married Bert Isaacs in Bloomington. He died 10-28-1967. Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Ehlers of Colfax and Mildred Knerr of Gibson City; a son, LaMar Isaacs of Edinburg, Texas; a sister, Emma Brackman of Homer, Ind.; a brother, Elmer Steinlicht of Peoria; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a son. Mrs. Isaacs was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mission, Texas and a past member of the Gibson City United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Colfax since 1969. She lived in Edinburg, Texas from 1956 - 1969 and is formerly of the Loda and Sibley area. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
