Charlotte Jean Ronna: Funeral services for Charlotte Jean Ronna, 67, of Paxton were Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loda. The Rev. Edgar L. Peters officiated. Visitation was Sunday at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Mrs. Ronna died at 10:30 a.m. Friday (March 21, 1997) at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born Jan 1, 1930 at Rantoul, the daughter of Howard V. and Wilma Gritten Fultz. She married Robert F. Ronna on Dec. 10, 1947, at rural Loda. He died on June 26, 1981. Surviving is her mother, Wilma Woller of Paxton; one daughter, Donna I. (Jim) Balk of Buckley; three sons, Robert L. (Billie) Ronna of Cary, N.C, Stanley P. (Kirsten) Ronna of Salt Lake City, and William H. Ronna of Rockdale; one stepson, Warren F. Ronna of Champaign; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joanne Woller of Paxton and Erna Feneley of San Antonio; one brother, Howard V. Fultz Jr. of Rio De Janerio, Brazil; five stepsisters, Jeannie (Jerry) Eastham of Savoy, Carolyn (Bill) Quinlan of Rantoul, Shirlie (Bernie) Taylor of Urbana, Betty (Don) Nigg of California and Leona Flahive of Las Vegas; and one stepbrother, Darrell Woller of Watseka. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard V. Fultz; step-father Herbert Woller and a step-brother Charles Woller. Mrs. Ronna attended Penfield Grade School and Loda Country School and graduated from Loda High School. She worked as a waitress most of her life and moved from Rantoul to Paxton in 1992. She and her husband lived in the Buckley-Loda area, in Frankfort and New Lenox. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loda. Memorials may be made to the church, the Rantoul Veterans of Foreign Wars post or an organization of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Rosenboom taken by death; Monday services
Mrs. Minnie Rosenboom, 75, of Watseka, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at her home.
She was born November 23, 1896, in Cissna Park, daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Hendricks Hasselbring and was a lifelong resident of Iroquois County.
In December of 1918, at Cissna Park, she was married to Louis Rosenboom. Surviving are her husband; a son, Raymond, and a daughter, Mrs. Ella Gross, both of Watseka; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 20, at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Cissna Park, the Rev. Wilbur McCasky officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Segur-Knapp funeral home of Watseka was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Gene H. Rankin, who died 5-18-2002, were Wednesday morning at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Rebecca Zelensky officiating. Gibson City - Troy H. Rutledge, 32, of Gibson City, died at 2:37 a.m. Friday 11-10-1995 as a result of injuries received in an auto accident at Illinois 54 and Road 600 North in Bellflower.

Aged 71, of Paxton, formerly of Pontiac died 10-8-2002 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery, Pontiac. Mrs. Robbins was born 1-27-1931 in rural Cropsey, a daughter of Millard and Lillie Van Walker Ferguson. She married Earl "Scotty" Robbins 6-11-1949 in Pontiac. He died 10-13-1974.

A. Ramon Rankin, 77, Gibson City, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday 12-30-2002 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Randall Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Rankin was born 4-1-1925 at Gibson City, a son of Arthur D. and Jennie Prince Rankin. He married Lila Jean Hinton on 11-20-1946, in Foosland, She survives. Also surviving are one son, Chuck Rankin of Chicago; three daughters, Linda (Terry) Buscher of Oak Park, Patricia Warren of Geneseo and Debra (Rod) Harmon of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Jane Cox of Fisher. He was preceded in death by one son, one sister, two brothers and one son-in-law, Rodger Warren. Mr. Rankin spent his life as a farmer in the Foosland area. He was a member of the Gibson City United Methodist Church and the Gibson City Moose Lodge 2289. He was a long-time volunteer of the Fisher Community Fair and Horse Show. Memorials may be made to his church or the Gibson Area Hospital Annex, Gibson City.

Funeral services for Ferne Ryan, 82, Paxton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton. The Rev. Chet Travis officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemeteery, Paxton. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Ryan died at 3:09 p.m. Monday 1-6-2003 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. She was born 9-10-1920, at Wall Twp, Loda, a daughter of John S. and Sarah E. Sharp Kenney. She married Joseph W. Ryan 1-1-1942 at Loda. He died 10-9-1994. She is survived by one son, David (Elizabeth) Ryan of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Frances Martz of Dayton, Ohio and one brother, Wesley Kenney of Normal. Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Ryan attended Center School in Wall Twp and graduated from Paxton High School. She graduated from the Burnham City Hospital School of Nursing, Champaign. She worked for a number of years as a registered nurse in both Paxton Community Hospital and Ford County Nursing Home. She attended the Victor Church in rural Loda. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing needlepoint.

Edwin R. Robertson, 76, of Oregon, Il., formerly of Gibson City, died at 10:05 p.m. Friday 7-20-2001 at ManorCare Health Services of Champaign. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Reverend Randall Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City, with military rites by Lee Lowery American Legion Post 568. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Robertson was born 11-9-1924 in Champaign, a son of Roland and Lauretta Jackson Robertson. He married Ella Mae Whallon on 11-1-1947 in Urbana and she survives. Also surviving are two brothers, William Robertson of Midland, Pa., and Robert Robertson of Champaign; and four sisters, Mildred McAllister of Kalamazoo, Mich., Lauretta McGuire of Gibson City, Susan Jensen of Denver and Rona Hettinger of Champaign. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Mr. Robertson graduated from Drummer Twp High School in Gibson City in 1943. He received a bachelor's degree in education from Illinois State University in 1950 and a master's degree in 1960. He served in the Navy from 1943 - 1946 on the USS Essex in the Pacific. He was a teacher and principal in the Oregon school district from 1957 - 1984. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or the Streatorland Historical Society.

Gene H. Rankin, 67, of Gibson City, died at 7:48 a.m. Saturday 5-18-2002 at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Rebecca Zelensky officiating. Burial was in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation was from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 8 p.m. Mr. Rankin was born 3-14-1935 at Foosland, a son of Claude and Neva Reed Rankin. He married Karen Rawley on 2-12-1961 at Champaign and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Alan Rankin of Monticello and Keith Rankin of Gibson City; one daughter, Pamela Schwanke of Gibson City and two grandsons. A 1953 graduate of Fisher High School, Mr. Rankin served in the Army Reserve from 1957 - 1963. He owned a gun shop in the 1960's and 1970's. He farmed most of his life. He was a member of the Gibson City and Ford County police auxiliaries. He was a member of the Gibson City Masonic Lodge No. 733 AF & AM for 37 years and was worshipful master in 1975. He was also a member of the Corn Belt Shrine Club, Mohammed Temple, Scottish Rite, Illinois Society of Sons of the American Revolution, the Society of the Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge, the National Rifle Association and the Elliott AmVets Post No 276. Mr. Rankin enjoyed working on genealogy, collecting toy tractors and visiting at the local coffee shop. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson Area Hospital Ambulance Service or the Elliott AmVets.

Mary O. Regnier, 94, of 259 S. Wabash Ave., Bradley died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital following a long illness. Visitation at the Clancy Funeral Home will be from 2-9 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Church. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Marion, she was born Aug 12, 1889 in Beaverville. Her husband, Arthur J. Regnier, to whom she was married Dec. 31, 1906 at St. Mary Church, Beaverville, died June 27, 1976. A homemaker, Mrs. Regnier was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Survivors include three sons, Paul and Arthur Regnier Jr. both of Kankakee and Donald Regnier of Bradley; eight daughters, Evelyn Senesac, Jeannette Dressler and Derillda Lawrence both of Bradley, Dorine Hequet, Bernice Beland, Rose Kaminsky and Marie Wallace all of kankakee and Darelene Provancal of Midlothian; 42 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren; 47 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Melvina Deschambeau of LaGrange and one brother, Wesley Marion of Beaverville. A daughter, Stella Fournier, a son, Lester, two sisters and four brothers are deceased. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Stella Fournier, 59 761 Kennedy Drive, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital following a two-year illness. Mrs. Fournier was born May 21, 1910, at Fowler, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Regnier. She resided in Kankakee for the past 50 years. In 1937 she married Peter V. Fournier, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Regnier of Kankakee; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Keigher of Manteno; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Senesac of Manteno, Mrs. Jeanette Dressler of Bradley, Mrs. Dorene Hequet and Mrs. Bernice Beland, both of Kankakee; Mrs. Stanley Lawrence of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Darlene Provancal of Midlothian, and Mrs. Marie Wallace and Mrs. Rose M. MARCEL REGNIER
Marcel Regnier, 71, formerly of 432 S. Evergreen Ave., died at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital following a two-year illness. He was born Aug. 30, 1907 in Beaverville to Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Jennings. He was married April 28, 1934 to the former Frances E. Devine. She died Sept. 16, 1978. Mr. Regnier was a retired employee of the General Mills Chemical Corp., where he had been employed for 22 years. He was a veteran of service during World War II and was a member of Kankakee American Legion Post 85. He was also a member of the Plumbers Union Local 383. Survivors include two sons, Stephen of Bourbonnais and Gregory of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; seven brothers, Armel, Raymond, LaVerne and Henry J., all of Kankakee, Donald and Melvin, both of Bradley, and Leslie of Iroquois; one sister, Birdella Lambert of Hammond, Ind., and several nieces and nephews. One brother, LeRoy, is deceased. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church. Visitation at the Clancy Funeral Home will be from 2 p.m. Sunday and before the services Monday. A wake service will be held at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Sunday. FRANCES E. REGNIER
Frances E. Regnier, 66 of 221 S. Cannon Ave., died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Regnier was born Sept. 24, 1911 in Herscher to Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Devine. She was a lifelong area resident. She married Marcel Regnier April 28, 1934 at St. Patrick's church in Kankakee. Mrs. Regnier was a member of the National Council of Catholic Women of St. Patrick's Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 85. Survivors include her husband; sons, Stephen of Bourbonnais and Gregory of Phoenix, Ariz.; father, Gregory Devine of Herscher; brothers, Vincent and Edward Devine, both of Chebanse, and Bernard of Dolton; and a sister, Mary Dixon of Homewood. She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patraick's Church. MRS. FRANCES ALTHEA REGNIER, 58, 248 S. Michigan Ave., Bradley, a longtime area resident and employee of Manteno State Hospital, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital after and extended illness. Mrs. Regnier had worked for the state institution for the past 20 years and had lived in this area for 31 years. She was born March 7, 1908, in Donovan, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cottner, and married Leroy Regnier in 1924 at Beaverville. He died in 1962. Survivors include: daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Posing, Bradley, and Mrs. Shirley Devine, Kankakee; sons, Norman and Morris, both of Bradley; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Church, Bradley, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at the Clancy Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today.

Henry. Regnier, 77, a retired farmer who has lived in Kankakee County the past 40 years, died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday after a short illness. He lived at 245 N. Fairmount Ave. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa's Church with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body is at the Clancy Funeral Home where visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday and continue until hour of the rites. The Holy Name Society of St. Teresa's Church, of which he was a member, will recite the rosary at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Members of the Knights of Columbus will recite it at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Regnier was born Sept. 16, 1884 in Beaverville and was married in 1905 to Cora LaReau in Papineau. She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Lambert of Hammond, Ind.; sons, LeRoy, Donald and Byron M., all of Bradley, Marcell, Arnell, Raymond and Henry Jr., all of Kankakee, Leslie of Iroquois and M. Sgt. LaVern K. who is in New Hampshire; a sister, Mrs. Denise Langellier of Watseka; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Joseph A. Regnier, 72, 419 S. Fifth Ave., died at 10 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital following a week's illness. Mr. Regnier, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Regnier, was born Sep 11, 1883, at Lake Linden, Mich., and resided in Kankakee the past 31 years. He farmed for a number of years in Indiana, and was an employee of Bear Brand Hosiery Co. until his retirement. He and Lydia Benoit were married in 1904. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. Adelore LaPlante of Bradley and Mrs. Ray J. Benoit of Kankakee; sons, Virgil of Chicago, Joseph of Joliet and Russell and Orville of Kankakee; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Sisters, Sister St. Augustine of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary at Holy Family Academy, Beaverville; Mrs. Pete Arseneau and Mrs. Ovid Arseneau of Beaverville; Mrs. I.J. ST. ANNE - Blanche D. Regnier, 73, formerly of 516 Beaver St., St. Anne, died at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday at Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, Ind., following a long illness. She was born March 16, 1910, in Kankakee, to S.J. and Ermeline Brosseau. She was married to Virgil V. Regnier Jan. 10, 1929, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Kankakee. She was born and raised in the Kankakee area, was a 40-year resident of the south Chicago suburban area, then resided in St. Anne before moving to Indiana three years ago. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Seminary, Kankakee, and was a retired employee of Atlantic Richfield Cafeteria, Harvey, which she managed for many years. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the Ladies of St. Anne Society, and was a former member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Orlan of Phoenix, Ariz., Myron of Littleton, Colo., and Dale of Hobart, Ind.; three daughters, Patricia Chester of Indianapolis, Ind., Vivian Regnier of Homewood, and Yvonne Snider of Portage, Ind.; 17 frandchildren; three great-grandchildren, one sister, Esma Langevin of Sylvania, Ohio; and two brothers, Edgar Brosseau of Sun City, Ariz., and Harvey Brosseau of Phoenix. Two brothers, Albert and Leon Brosseau, and one sister, Marie Besse, are deceased. Leroy C. Regnier, 56, of 248 S. Michigan Ave., Bradley, a former Kroehler Mfg. Co. employee, died suddenly in his home Sunday afternoon. Born April 18, 1906 in Beaverville, Mr. Regnier is survived by the widow, Frances, at home; daughters. Mrs. Howard Posing of Bradley, Mrs. Donald Devine of Kankakee; sons, Norman and Morris of Bradley; and mother, Mrs. Cora Regnier of Kankakee. Also surviving are brothers, Marcel, Armel, Raymond, Henry (Jim), of Kankakee; Donald and Melvin of Bradley, Leslie of Iroquois, and Laverne of New Hampshire; sisters, Mrs. Ronald Lambert of Hammond, Ind., and seven grandchildren. Mr. Regnier, an area resident for the past 34 years, was preceded in death by his father, who died in March. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Rose Church with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Clancy Funeral Home, where visitation hours are until time of services.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora M. Regnier, 87, a resident of the Kankakee area since 1928 will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Regnier died Thursday at a local nursing home following a long illness. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LaReau she was born Oct. 17, 1887 in Kingman, Kan. She was a member of the Grandmother's Club and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Teresa Church. On Feb. 14, 1905 in the Catholic Church of Papineau she was married to Henry T. Regnier who died March 8, 1962. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Lambert of Hammond, Ind.; sons, Marcel, Armel, Raymond, LaVerne and Henry all of Kankakee, Donald and Melvin of Bradley and Leslie of Iroquois; a brother, Lloyd LaReau of Chicago; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

MRS. ESTER REGNIER, 36, died early Sunday in her home, 413 South Third Avenue, after a brief illness. Fire Lt. Roger Regnier and Fireman Glenn Johnson of the emergency squad administered inhalator treatment about 2 minutes before Mrs. Regnier was pronounced dead. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Rose church and burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the Senesac funeral home today and until the hour of the services. Mrs. Regnier was born Feb. 24, 1914 in Kankakee, to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vellutini. A lifelong resident of Kankakee, she was married March 2, 1945 to Francis Regnier. She was a member of the auxillary to the Sons of Italy. Surviving are the husband, parents, of Kankakee; a sister, Edith and two brothers, Angelo and Francis, both of Kankakee. Members of the Sons of Italy auxiliary are requested to meet at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to recite the rosary.

Dies; Rites Set
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maternity Church, Bourbonnais, for Eugene Z. Regnier, 53, 1636 S. Fifth Ave., who died at St. Mary's Hospital Monday evening after an extended illness. He was employed at A. O. Smith Corp. for the past 25 years, was a member of the International Association of Machinist, loyal Order of the Moose, Kankakee American Legion Post 85, and was a World War II veteran. He was a past member of the Bourbonnais Rural Volunteer Firemen and was a past trustee of Bourbonnais for many years. Mr. Regnier was born March 30, 1918 in Bourbonnais, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Armand Regnier. He is survived by the widow, the former Genevieve Stevens, whom he married in 1940; daughters, Mrs. Rose Steinke of Kankakee, Mrs. Karen Fox of German; sons, Clyde Regnier of Kankakee, Wayne in the Air Force in Wichita Falls, Tex., four grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Rosalie Regnier of Bourbonnais; sisters, Mrs. Alice Petko and Mrs. Jeanette Emerson, both of Bourbonnais, and Mrs. Theresa Baughman of Kankakee; brothers; Armand "Pete", and Adrian, both of Bourbonnais. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Senesac Funeral Home and Thursday before the services. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.

Arthur J. Regnier Sr., 89, 259 S. Wabash Ave., Bradley, a retired employee of the Kroehler Mfg. Co., died Sunday, at St. Mary's Hospital, following a long illness. He retired from Kroehler's 24 years ago after having been employed there for 10 years. Before joining the Kroehler Co., he had been associated with the construction business for many years. Survivors in addition to his widow include sons, Paul of Orlando, Fla., Donald of Bradley and Arthur Jr. of Kankakee; daughters, Mrs. Rene Senesac of Manteno, Mrs. Jeannette Dressler and Mrs. Derillda Lawrence both of Bradley, Mrs. Thomas Provancal of Midlothian, Mrs. Rene Hequet, Mrs. Walter Beland, Mrs. Walter Kaminsky and Mrs. Charles Wallace all of Kankakee; a brother, Dr. Wallace all of Kankakee; a brother, Dr. Walter Regnier of Arizona; sisters, Mrs. Eva Surprenant of Bourbonnais and Mrs. Phillip Saindon of Momence; 41 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be from the Senesac Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday for a 9:30 a.m. funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at noon Monday at St. Martin of Tours Church for Amos M. "Ookie" Regnier, 68, 1042 S. Eight Ave., Kankakee, who died at 6:24 p.m. Friday at Riverside Medical Center.He was born July 18, 1912, in Beaverville to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Regnier. He was married July 18, 1933, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church to the former Esther M. LaMontagne, who survives. A lifelong resident of the Kankakee area, Mr. Regnier retired from the Roper Corp., Plants Division, in 1976 after 47 years. Also surviving are one son, Lawrence A. of Kankakee; one daughter, Patricia A. Gray of Herscher; his mother, Zella Regnier of Kankakee; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Romain of Indianapolis, Roger of Kankakee and E. Richard of Tampa, Fla,; and three sisters, Magdalene Belisle of Kankakee, Marguerite Walsh of Tampa, and Norma Jean Guimond of Bourbonnais. His father is deceased. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Senesac Funeral Home, Kankakee, before proceeding to the church where the Rev. Joseph B. Tremonti will oficiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the services. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Adeline (Addie) Regnier, 73, 260 S. Cleveland Ave., Bradley, a lifetime resident of Kankakee County, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Regnier was born Sept. 13, 1891, in Bourbonnais Township, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bisallion. Survivors include the husband, Zephiere; sons, Francis and Zephiere Jr., both of Kankakee, Patrick of Bradley and Joseph of Bourbonnais; daughters, Mrs. Rene Surprenant and Mrs. Carl Hosenberg, both of Bradley, 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Elrick of Iowa and Francis of Chicago Heights, and sister, Mrs. Louis Baker of Chicago Heights. She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitors may call after 3 p.m. Monday and until time of services at the Clancy Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

ALPHONSE REGNIER, Retired Park Employee, Dies
Alphonse J. Regnier, 71, of 127 South Fifth Avenue, retired Kankakee Park district employee, died at 5:10 a.m. today at his home after an extended illness. Before beginning employment with the park district, Mr. Regnier for many years was maintenance manager at the Majestic theater. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends many call at the Senesac funeral home after 7:30 o'clock tonight and until 3 p.m. Wednesday when the body will be removed to the residence. A resident of Kankakee for the past 45 years, Mr. Regnier was born at Beaverville Aug. 5, 1879 a son of the late David and Pamilla Regnier. He was married in 1901 to Maude Stiles, who survives with a daughter Sister Mary Isabella of the Missionary Sisters of the Society of Mary, stationed at Bedford, Mass; a son Leslie of Kankakee and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Regnier was a member of Canadian court 56, Catholic Order of Foresters.

Rites for Native of Milford Conducted Here Yesterday Funeral rites for Harry Rush, 74, a native of the Milford community, were held at 2 P.M. yesterday, Wednesday , at the Barker Funeral home with the Rev. Walter Teasdale of Watseka officiating. In recent failing health , he has been a patient in an out of town hospital where he died Saturday night, Oct. 22, 1960. Burial will be in the Maple Grave Cemetery. Mrs. Paul Osborn was organist at the service and accompanied Warren Callahan who sang two hymns, "Abide with me" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers were George, Dale and Victor Rush, Louis and Larry Frerichs and Russell Frame. Floral tributes were in charge of Mrs. Louis Frerichs, Mrs. Jerry Sloan, Mrs. Victor Rush and Mrs. Dale Rush. Mr. Rush was born in Milford on December 24, 1885, the son of Martin J. and Minnie Mate Rush. His marriage April 5, 1917 was with Ruby Callahan , who survives. Also surviving are: one son, Lt. Col. Roger S. Rush of the Pentagon, six grandchildren; an two sisters, Mrs. Laura Sloan of Milford and Mrs. Geneva Smith of Ohio, Il. One brother , Charles Rush preceded him in death.

Funeral Services Monday
Leslie R. Regnier, 47, 875 W. Williams St., a lifelong resident of Kankakee County, died at 4:14 a.m. today in St. Mary's Hospital following a four-month illness. He was born on Jan 14, 1913, in Kankakee, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Regnier. The mother, Mrs. Maud Regnier of Kankakee, survives. On April 23, 1949, he was married in St. Rose Church to the former Ruby Lambert, who also survives. He was an employee of the Kankakee Highway Department. Also surviving is Sister Mary Isabella, M.S.M.S. Jamaica, British West Indies, a sister. Another sister preceded him in death. Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Monday in St. Rose Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Friends may call at the Clancy Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Lydia Regnier, 73 of 419 S. Fifth Ave. died at her home at 3 a.m. today following an extended illness. She had been a resident of Kankakee for the past 31 years. Her husband Joseph, whom she married on Jan. 11, 1904, died two weeks ago. Surviving are daughters: Mrs. Adelore LaPlante of Bradley and Mrs. Ray J. Benoit of Kankakee; sons, Virgil of Chicago, Joseph of Joliet, Russell and Orville, both of Kankakee; 16 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; the mother, Mrs. Leonie Benoit; sisters, Miss Melise Benoit of Beaverville, Mrs. Albert Kempen of Donovan, Mrs. Harvey Blaine of Martinton, Mrs. Wilfred Arseneau of Kankakee; brothers, Lewis of Kankakee, Donald of Beaverville and Baron of Michigan.
